Farm Broth is a boutique, USDA-inspected further processing facility dedicated to helping farms turn raw ingredients into premium, value-added products.
We specialize in crafting bone broth and rendered fat products using your farm’s own bones and fat. From slow simmer to shelf-ready, we handle the cooking and packaging—delivering beautifully branded, retail-ready products that reflect the quality and integrity of your farm.

About
our company

Farm Broth is based out of Mansfield, Georgia and is owned and operated by Shaun and Sabrina Terry, pastured poultry farmers with a deep respect for the animals they raise.
Faced with an abundance of backs, necks, and feet they couldn’t easily sell, their freezers quickly filled—and the idea of waste didn’t sit right. Determined to find a better solution, they embarked on the long journey to become a USDA-inspected further processor.

Farm Broth was born out of a desire to serve fellow small and mid-sized farmers—providing a trusted, value-added processing service that transforms underutilized parts into premium products. Our mission is rooted in whole-animal utilization—not just reducing waste, but creating high-quality bone broth and rendered fat that elevate your brand and boost your bottom line.

We make premium products, so you can sell premium products—and earn premium profits.

Slow-rendered, filtered for clarity

Rendering isn’t an add-on for us, as it is for many kill-floor processors. We focus on crafting high-clarity, pure lard and tallow. We can render any USDA-inspected fat. It doesn’t have to just be suet or leaf lard!

Farm Broth offers a starter line of tallow creams that cover all the bases- a sweet floral scent (Petal & Resin), a masculine, earthy scent (Timber & Citrus), a light, calming scent (Twilight Lavender), and a bare tallow cream with no added ingredients.

Our tried-and-true classic.
The Original flavor is a savory blend of rosemary, thyme, garlic, bay leaf, and sea salt—crafted to enhance the natural richness of the meat while adding a depth of flavor all its own. Exceptionally versatile, this broth complements a wide range of cuisines and cooking styles, making it a staple in any kitchen.

The Original

Our Pho bone broth is a rich, fragrant blend inspired by the traditional Vietnamese classic. Crafted with star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, cloves, fennel, onion, ginger, and sea salt, this broth is simmered low and slow to extract deep flavor and nourishing goodness.

Whether you’re using it to sauté greens with an Asian flair, or using it as a standalone dish, Pho won’t disappoint.

Our Ramen bone broth is slowly simmered with garlic, ginger, onion, white pepper, star anise, and dried shiitake to create a bold, aromatic base that’s bursting with umami. The result is a rich, savory broth that hits the spot.

Whether served as a standalone or layered with traditional ramen toppings, this broth offers a warm, satisfying foundation that speaks to comfort and craftsmanship.

Ramen

Our no-spice option is pretty self-explanatory; it includes no added spices. Some customers prefer to add their own spices, or are on restrictive diets. Whatever the reason, the no-spice bone broth offers infinite cooking possibilities (bone broth smoothies, anyone?)

This option is also a great choice if you have a market of pet-lovers. Many people feed bone broth to their animals as a treat, or to help them when they’re ill.

Rendered Fats

Tallow & Lard

Animal fats like lard and tallow are traditional, nutrient-dense cooking fats that have been used for generations. Unlike many industrial seed oils, they’re minimally processed and free from chemical solvents. Rich in fat-soluble vitamins (like A, D, E, and K2) and naturally stable at high heat, animal fats are ideal for roasting, frying, and sautéing without breaking down or oxidizing. We render fat low & slow, allowing the sediment to clarify out of the fats.

Whipped Tallow Cream

If you search online or look in your local shops, you’ll notice tallow cream EVERYWHERE. This is a booming industry. Tallow cream is easy on the skin because it is similar to our own skin sebum. Instead of sitting on top of the skin like many vegetable-based lotions, tallow cream absorbs quickly. People use it as a moisturizer, diaper balms, skin salves, etc. The kicker is that most high-quality tallow creams on the market sell for $10-$20 per ounce. These cosmetic companies are buying tallow from farmers. You can cut out the middle man, hitting the market with a more reasonable price.

Product packaging for Tallow Cream Scent Options featuring four different scented whipped tallow creams: Bare (beef tallow with natural ingredients), Petal & Resin (with benzoin resin and geranium oil), Twilight Lavender (lavender with lavender oil), and Timber & Citrus (cedarwood and orange oils). The packaging highlights customization options and mentions that custom oil combinations are available.

SHIPPING

We know how daunting shipping can seem, especially if you’re shipping pallet-sized loads. But don’t sweat it! We’ve worked with LTL (Less than truck load) frozen shippers across the country. We’ve had shipments as small as 600 lbs shipped from Virginia, to 10,000 lbs shipped from Kentucky. We can facilitate your shipments with our preferred shipper or yours. Because the margins on bone broth & fats are so high, shipping can be worked in to keep you above a 40% margin in most cases. Obviously, the larger the run, the more bang for your buck.

Reach out to us if you have questions about the shipping process.

Book with us

Many farmers schedule their bone broth & fat services alongside their processing dates. This allows you to keep those extra bones and fat packages out of your freezer, and turns them into a profitable value-added product.
